What is food Insecurity?

Food insecurity is the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods, or limited or uncertain ability to acquire acceptable foods in socially acceptable ways.
How does it affect Clark County?
In Clark County, 11.5% of all families are living below the poverty level. This is higher than Ohio, which is at 9.2% and the US, at 8.6%.
There is a higher concentration of families below the poverty level in central Clark County.
